Welcome to the DeLorean Midwest Connection

The DeLorean Midwest Connection is one of the longest running DeLorean clubs in existence. Our beginnings date back to the early 1980's when we were officially a chapter of the National DeLorean Owners Association. When the local chapters were dissolved, the DeLorean Midwest Connection continued as a standalone club. Now, almost 20 years later, we have grown to be a club with just under 100 members comprised of DeLorean owners and enthusiasts. The majority of club members are located in the central states -- Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, and Iowa.

Good News for DeLorean Owners in Illinois In accordance with Section 13C-15 of the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Inspection Law of 2005, all pre-1996 model year passenger vehicles are exempt from testing as of February 1, 2007. Only 1996 and newer ODB-equipped vehicles are required to be tested, except for vehicles that qualify for exemptions, including diesel, electric only and vehicles with qualifying certificates of exemption such as show cars, race cars, etc. These certificates must be renewed every 2 years.
